A simple Christmas

Before we know it the Holidays will be here! This year my theme is simple. I didn't break out all of my christmas decor this halloween weekend but I did break out some to show you that you can create cozy spaces on a cheap budget! Two years ago I stocked up at targets 1$ section when they had the mini trees, skis, & little signs and pillows but every year they come out with even cuter stuff! This year I won't really get to decorate the way I want because we will be packing up our home and everything will be back in storage. Bummer I know! Another year another deployment. But if I did get to decorate the way I wanted then below would be some of the things I would use. The pine cones are always a cute inexpensive way to decorate I found a ton in my backyard two years ago and just kept them in a box! Of course antlers are a staple piece in my house no matter what month it is! They were my dad's and when he passed away I kept them all in memory of him. The cotton stems are great for fall + winter I love the texture they give pair them with some candle sticks and it can really cozy the space up! I like making the dining room feel welcoming because when family visits its where we spend a lot of time together. Chalkboards are a fun decor piece because they are cheap and you can always use them! This one was from hobby lobby for like 8$.If you haven't noticed I incorporate a lot of the same items in my seasonal decor ( gather sign, baskets, blankets, candle sticks, dough bowl, antlers) I think you should be able to keep everything out you love and just add simple touches of holiday! Below I will list a few items I am loving this winter for the home!
